Total penthouse renovation designed to delight
Eastwood complete apartment renovation
The penthouse apartment was originally built in 2005 and was looking very dated. The clients’ interior designer asked InterConstruct to renovate the apartment based on her designs.
Renovating an apartment has additional challenges when compared with single dwellings. For example, lifts must be used to deliver all materials and remove all debris. There are also stringent body corporate rules that must be adhered to. In addition, the proximity of neighbours means care must always be taken to minimise any potential inconvenience to them.
But InterConstruct is familiar with these challenges and delivered the renovation on time, on budget and within body corporate guidelines thanks to their detailed scheduling and attention to detail.
In particular, this complete apartment renovation included:
- Custom-made cabinetry in the kitchen, laundry area and 2 bathrooms
- Marble tiles and benchtops with waterfall sides
- High-end fixtures and fittings throughout – including inwall toilets in both bathrooms
- European appliances and a mirror splashback in the kitchen
- Modern lighting, including LED under bench strip lighting in work areas
- New timber flooring and painting throughout
